2012 NBA Summer League: Dion Waiters To Make Las Vegas Debut

The Golden State Warriors don't play another summer league game until Wednesday, but there are still seven games going on in the Las Vegas Summer League today for the biggest basketball junkies out there.

And today will be our first glimpse at Dion Waiters - reportedly one of the Warriors' primary targets in the 2012 NBA Draft - playing with a few of his NBA teammates.

Star-divide

SB Nation NBA's summer league storystream has more info and will provide updates on game results during the day, but the following is the schedule for the day:

NBA Summer League Schedule For Sunday, July 15 (all times Pacific)

? COX Pavilion
1 p.m. -- New York vs. Phoenix
3 p.m. -- Denver vs. Dallas
5 p.m. -- San Antonio vs. Atlanta
7 p.m. -- Washington vs. NBA D-League

? Thomas & Mack
3:30 p.m. -- Toronto vs. Miami
5:30 p.m. -- Cleveland vs. Charlotte
7:30 p.m. -- New Orleans vs. Portland

You may have already heard that Cleveland's Kyrie Irving will be missing summer league due to a recently broken hand, but as described already at SBN's Fear the Sword both Waiters and second-year forward Tristan Thompson - a player whose ceiling is still unclear to me - are intriguing young talents who could still make their summer league team interesting to watch.
