GROUP AA TOURNAMENT
Culpeper finished the sec ond and final day of the Group AA state tournament held at Lakeview Golf Course in Harrisonburg on Tuesday in fifth place.
The Blue Devils finished with a two-day score of 631, while Salem easily won the team title with a score of 597, 25 strokes ahead of runner- up Spotswood.
Blacksburg?s Ryan Monday shot a 67 on day two to rally for a one-stroke win. Charlie Peavley and Johnnie Mealia were the top scorers for Culpeper, each carding 152s.

FAITH BAPTIST 1, FAIRFAX BAPTIST TEMPLE 0
Zac Whiting tallied an early first-half goal, and goalie Ben Newman collected four saves to help visiting Faith Baptist get a win.
Stone Lewis and Grant LeFort led the defense, and Andres Soria played well in midfield for the Conquerors (3?4?2), who entertain Light house Baptist on Thursday.

CROSS COUNTRY
BATTLEFIELD DISTRICT MINI MEET
The Courtland cross country team participated in a Battlefield District mini meet at Culpeper on Tuesday with the boys finishing first and girls third.
The Cougars? Victoria Parent won the girls race in a time of 20:18, while Kayla Locklear (22:17) placed 11th and Jessica Longenecker (23:34) 21st.
The boys team was paced by a third-place finish by Jonathan Mersiowsky (17:56). Michael Amrhine (18:17) finished in fifth, Kyler Jourdan (18:26) sixth and Andrew Thorpe (19:01) 14th for the Cougars.

GIRLS TENNIS
FREDERICKSBURG ACADEMY 4, FOXCROFT 3
Fredericksburg Academy edged Foxcroft for a Delaney Athletic Conference win.
