ST Instafit Meals | Shuichi Take Fitness: Miami's #1 Personal ...

After posting several photos on Instagram and Twitter (@shuichitake) of some healthier meal options and receiving an overwhelming positive response and feedback, I felt that compelled to create a new section of our website dedicated to these meals called ?ST Instafit Meals? (#stinstafitmeals). For each meal, I go in depth about the calorie content, how it?s prepared and what makes it healthier.

There are three main criteria to each meal:

  1. Quick- Each meal has to take less than 10 minutes to prepare.
  2. Convenient- everything you need from each meal should be easily found at your local grocery store.
  3. Inexpensive- each meal costs less than your typical combo meal at fast food restaurants.

Before you start experimenting with the ST Instafit Meals, it is important to know how many calories your body burns on a daily basis and how many calories you should be taking in on a daily basis. Once you have determined those two numbers you can then create a meal plan based on your daily schedule. To get started, go to the nutrition page of our website.

There are two objectives to the ST Instafit Meal series:

  1. Educate you on how to make healthier meal selections using foods that you may normally buy at the grocery store and/or substituting the foods you normally buy for similar but healthier alternatives.
  2. Get you in the habit of counting your calories and being aware of how many calories are in the different foods you eat.

Once you?ve created your customized meal plan you can then work on getting good at knowing the calorie count of different foods and monitoring how many calories all your meals have. Keeping a daily log of your meals and their calorie content can help keep you stay focused and on track with your meal planning.

Are these meals the healthiest meals out there? No. Are their better ways to eat healthier? Of course, and I encourage everyone to explore the other options out there. Unfortunately, the reality is that the amount of dieting information out there can be overwhelming and confusing while the more popular healthy meal plans are just unrealistic and/or too pricy.

The good news is eating healthier doesn?t have to be time consuming, inconvenient or expensive. ST Instafit Meals was created to show you just how easy and simple it can be to make healthier meal decisions.
