| 06 September 2012 | news Newsdesk China has one of the biggest electronic industries in the world, while Denmark is famous for its design solutions. These two merits could be combined to mutual benefit. A meeting Tuesday 4 September between Friis Arne Petersen, Danish Ambassador to China, and represents from two of China?s electronic giants Hisense and Haier? was the first step to expand Chinese-Danish cooperation in the industry. ?From Danish side we want to establish a unit in Denmark that will bring the industries in both countries to the next level. Qingdao has some of the biggest and fastest moving Chinese companies in the market. With the functionality and look from Danish design we will be able to move even further and faster,? Ambassador Friis Arne Petersen said at the meeting. Hisense and Haier have both been in the industry for 30-40 years and have established a wide range of product lines in the industry. In the last years they have invested globally in markets as the USA, Europe, Africa and Russia. | |
